OTAKI-MAORI RACING CLUB

The Otaki Motel is down the road from the racecourse. The next race meeting will be on Friday 2nd May. Horse number 5, "Ought To Be Bad", jockeyed by Hayden Tinsley, was the winner of the Otaki Motel Maiden held on 7th March.

OTAKI GOLF CLUB

Otaki Motel is five minutes drive from the Otaki Golf Club in Old Coach Road. The club is currently offering a Round of Golf for up to four players for $60. Call 06 364 8260 for a tee time.

PAREMORATANGI RESERVE

Otaki Motel connects with Paremoratangi Reserve which is a great place to take your family for a picnic. A short walk will take you to a secluded spot over the creek which is hedged by a few trees and overlooks much of Otaki.

Otaki has become a retail destination with many major retail stores lining the Main Road. It's a great place to bring friends or family for a weekend's shopping followed by a stroll on the beach.

Part of the Grow Wellington initiative, the Clean Technology Centre has arrived in Otaki with a focus on providing support for start ups related to clean energy initiatives.
